1. Who we are

This shop is run by UAB Macam Europe, Viršupio Sodų 22-oji g. 15, LT-10230 Vilnius, Lithuania, company code 307381471, VAT number LT100019772513, email info@macamfilter.eu, phone +370 628 48582. These terms apply to all orders placed on this website.

2. Products and compatibility

Macam makes reusable, washable filter bags for vacuum cleaners and dust extractors. Each product page lists the machine models the bag is compatible with. Please check that your machine is listed before you order; if you are not sure, email us the make and model and we will check for you. Macam is an independent brand and is not affiliated with the machine manufacturers named on this website.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are in euro and include VAT at the rate that applies in your country. Delivery costs are shown at checkout. Payment is taken when you place your order, using one of the methods offered at checkout.

4. How the contract is made

When you place an order you make an offer to buy. We send an order confirmation by email, and the contract is concluded when you receive it. The contract language is the language of this website you ordered in, or English. We store your order details and you can see them in the confirmation email.

5. Delivery

Delivery areas, options, costs and times are set out in our Shipping policy. Risk passes to you when the parcel is delivered to you or to the parcel locker you chose.

6. Right of withdrawal and returns

If you are a consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal, and we extend this to 30 days. Details and the model withdrawal form are in our Returns and refunds policy.

7. Legal guarantee

You have the statutory 2-year guarantee of conformity under EU and Lithuanian law. If a product is faulty, contact us and we will repair, replace or refund it as the law provides. Normal wear, use outside the instructions (for example wet, hot or hazardous material), and washing other than as described in the care instructions are not faults.

8. Liability

We are liable under the law for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. Otherwise our liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.

9. Complaints and disputes

Please contact us first at info@macamfilter.eu. If we cannot resolve it, you can apply to the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority of Lithuania (www.vvtat.lt) or to the consumer body in your country.

10. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Lithuanian law. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of that country, and you can bring a claim in the courts where you live.
